There is still plenty of time to book a flight and hotel at the hottest monster convention in the west coast, Son Of Monsterpalooza! This years event is being held October 11th thru the 13th at the Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, in Burbank California.

Son Of Monsterpalooza is a 3 day convention featuring some of the most notable names in Monsters, makeup & special effects. It’s about monsters, the people who make them, and the fans who make them popular.

The three day event has something for every one and includes film fests, a cool inside walk thru scare attraction, and art, discussion panels, make up classes, and more.

This years guest lineup is impressive with such luminaries as Akira Takarada, The Chiodo Brothers and a special 25th Anniversay of their cult hit film, “Killer Klowns From Outer Space“, which also will feature a special ticket event and party saturday night called “Killer Klown Karnival”, featuring a concert with “The Dickies”, who performed the KKFOS theme song, games, cast members, and more, at the Marriott. Additional guests appearing at the show include, Steve Railsback, Jeffrey Combs, Tony Todd, Natasja Kinski, Dee Wallace, and many other amazing artists and guest form the world of horror and sci fi.

At last years show everyone attending had a great time as artists, actors, and directors were meeting fans and walking around as fans themselves checking out everything inside the show. There are also some pretty cool demonstrations and vendors too!

Attendees can meet their favorite actors, directors and artists from the Horror and Sci Fi genre in a welcoming, exciting, friendly atmosphere without the typical convention stress sometimes found at other conventions.
