Saturday’s Son of Monsterpalooza was jam packed with fans, celebrities, film makers, artists, panels, and more.

Things to do and see Saturday included panels “The Land of a Thousand Faces“, “Akira Takarada” from the original “Godzilla“, the  “Son of Monsterpalooza 2nd Annual Costume Contest“, as well as the very special celebration party, “Killer Klown Karnival” which celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the cult classic Chiodo Brothers film, “Killer Klowns From Outer Space“.

The party was presented by Oculus Outré & The Chiodo Bros & was hosted by Son of Monsterpalooza and featured a live performance by rock legends “The Dickies“, showcasing songs from their “Killer Klowns From Outer Space” e.p. along with many other hits from their 36-year career. Also appearing was the theatrical horror rock band “Rosemary’s Billygoat“, and the Los Angeles burlesque troop, “Peepshow Menagerie” with their interpretation of “The Kreepy Kabaret“, plus DJ Howie Pyro.
In addition to the above, there was a Killer Klown Kostume Kontest where attendees dressed as the most terrifying Klown Karacter . Killer Klown cast members, including Suzanne Snyder was there too, as well as Kreepy Vendors, rare behind the scenes footage from the filming of “Killer Klowns From Outer Space“, photo ops, a cool balloon artist, 3 bars for our thirst, and more.

The Saturday night party was packed with excited fans and the concert & burlesque performances were amazing.

Entertainment Minute filmed the entire Dickies concert along with highlights of the Kostume Kontest, Peepshow Menagerie and Rosemary’s Billygoat, opening.
