Eliot Brodsky’s Son of Monsterpalooza is this weekend and Friday night is the start. Tonights show was from 6pm until 11pm and there was a lot going on .
There were huge crowds of fans lined up around the convention center to get in the show and everyone of those fans I spoke with were excited about this years line up.
There were plenty of things to do and see at the convention tonight including Professor Creepy’s Scream Party from 6 till 7pm, a screening of the Juliet Landau/Deverill Weekes film, “Dream Out Loud” at 7, a Q and A with Victoria Price, author of “Vincent Price: A Daughters Biography“, as well as actor’, “Al Leong’s Greatest Hits” at 9, and a special Grindhouse 11th Anniversary Celebration at 10pm.
There was also a cool (and free) monster/horror Scare walk thru which included scares, shocks, and laughs that ran the entire convention, as well as vendors with all sorts of cool things to purchase. Here are some photos showing the many things happening Friday night. I will be posting additional photos, HD panels, and more, including Saturday’s & Sundays show wrap ups when I get back to New York.
